The furnishings in our Galleria are one of a kind items customized to customer needs. Customers came to us with specific measurements and design they needed for their home. Dining Room Table
A Co-worker and friend asked if I could make a dining room table. He requested an 82" X 42" table made of maple with a redish tone finish. We did some preliminary discussion about color and decided on what you see in the picture to the left. The final product. The table is made of solid Maple including the skirt and legs.
Linen Cabinet
One of the very first pieces made by Simply Wood. My wife asked for a linen cabinet. The cabinet is made of pine and has the traditional raised panel doors. It is finished with three coats of Polyurethane. The cabinet does not come with the linen shown.
Heirloom Baby Cradle
When I was made aware that I was to become a grandfather, I immediately knew that I would build one of these. I actually built two. One for my first grandchild baby Madyson (miss beautiful) and one for my second grandchild Austin (future Hall of Famer). The cradle is finished with a Red Oak Stain and 3 coats of Watco wipe on polyurethane.
Toy Chest
This toy chest I designed and built for my Granddaughter. The chest is made from solid oak and oak veneer plywood. The inlay design is there because my granddaughter's middle name is Rose. The toy box lid has special hinges where the lid stays put in any position so as not to slam on little unsuspecting hands. This piece can be designed in any size and style with related accessories.
Classic Bookcase
Classic Oak Bookcase. During the construction of this fine oak bookcase, we were not able to get a good picture of the bookcase empty. The case is made of solid oak with a Golden Oak stain and finished with 4 coats of a solution of Denatured Alcohol, 2lb cut of raw umber shellac and Polyurethane.
Shaker Clock
Traditional Shaker Clock. This version is made of pine and is 17" tall and clear coated with polyurethane. The clock movement is pendulum driven quartz. These are great fireplace mantel pieces.
Jeweler's Clock
A Replica of a early 1900's Jeweler's Clock. This clock is made of hard maple and was a Christmas gift to my son and his wife whom had just gotten married the previous August. It stands about 42" high and 10 inches wide. All the detail was hand made and finished in a dark mahogany and coated with and oil poly finish.
Cabinet
A cabinet made of Pine and lined with beadboard. The beadboard gives the cabinet an old time look. The doors have glass panels and grills. The customer requested the glass doors to allow for displaying the content.
Custom Outdoor Sign
The Baboosic Lake Beach Club requested that we make a sign to identify their beach. The sign is made from spanish cedar and coated with two coats of outdoor oil.
